1. Your eligibility for promotion under the Reserve Officers Personnel Act, Public Law 773
83d Congress, which requires that Reserve Officers be considered for promotion at certain phase
points in theit career, is detemined by the following factors:

a. Your current Reserve grade.

'b. Your Promotion Service Date (PSD) (See Incl nr 1).

Your Total Federal Commissioned Service Date (TFCSD) (See Incl ar 1).

2. Inclosure 2 reflects the information contained in your records andwill be used to de
termine your place on the Promotion List. Please complete the statement on the reverse side of
this inclosure indicating that you do or do not agree with the information as established from re-
cords on file at thisCenter. Return one copy of this inclosure, with your comments, to this Ceater
within fifteen days of the date of this letter.

3. If you do not agree with thecomputation contained in Inclosure 2, you must include
documentary evidence, in the form of an order, Discharge Certificate, Letter of Appointment, etc.,
to substantiate your claim. Upon receipt of documentary evidence which will change our compu
tations, your records will be changed to properly reflect this additional information and you will
be notified of completed action.
